HOW GRATITUDE CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

This week I have just returned from the Mind Body Spirit Festival where Focus on Living had a stand.   Over 4 days 17000 beautiful souls visited the exhibition.

I had an idea that in the throng of heaving bodies I would like to help people focus on what they were grateful for instead of judging or focusing on what was wrong in their life.   So one wall of my stand became this  incredible wall of GRATITUDE.  So many beautiful things were written on the wall.  “ A roof over my head” from a 11 year boy.   Mothers and daughters writing about love and family.  There were friends which instantly wrote their friends name on the wall  I could feel the love . Taking this time for myself.  That recognition  they had made the effort to be there and they were going to enjoy the show.

All of these things were important reminders for others who wanted to stop and look leaving with a smile on their face.
I love this quote “God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?” ~William A. Ward

TRY THIS.. If you take a minute each day to focus on what you are thankful for and   watch what wonderful things start to come into your life.  What we focus on we get more of.  As a family we have decided to set one up at home and write something each day.

I would love to know how you bring the feeling of gratitude into your life LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW.

Thank you for your gratitude exhibition.

To bring more into my life, first thing in the morning I write down 10 things I am grateful for and why.

My 2 teenagers and I have a grateful jur that is the centrepiece on our dining table and we each write grateful notes, cold them and put them in. On NYE we sit down and empty the jar, reading each note and reflecting on the positive aspects of the year before burning them in readiness for a new year.
